Shakti Revolution was created by Rasamaya  Founder Carrie Tyler and Rasamaya videographer Kim Vickers Grenon as a platform to empower women through movement workshops, photography, writing, and film.  Every woman has a story to share and a fundamental right to exist in the power of her own individual truth.  We recognize that all women have experienced the same emotions (called rasas in Sanskrit), and that the differences between us lies in the details. It is this common experience that bonds us together in all things "female" and we are committed to helping women share their stories with the world and their communities.

The Shakti Tour workshops allow women an opportunity to dive deeply into their emotional body and share the common experience of womanhood with each other in a safe and supportive environment through the lens of movement.  The Shakti Stories project was created as a way for women to share their stories with the world. 

​ We strive to embody a grassroots mentality and as such all of our workshops collaborate with a local woman's charity and a local movement studio to bond the community together.  Each workshop we host offers a portion of their proceeds back to the charity chosen. Scholarships are available for those who cannot afford our workshops but would like to attend.
